  • What is the best height for my box?
    The height of a box depends on what kind of species it is intended for, this will then determine the height. Here is a table to help get you started. Pine marten: 4m Barn owl: 3-5m Tawny owl: 3-5m Kestrel: 3-5m Small bird box: 2-3m These are the approximate heights if your tree/building won't allow for this don't worry too much as long as you're close to these measurements.

  • What payment cards do you accept?
    We accept payments from all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, Diners, CUP, JCB and Maestro. If you would like to pay another way please get in touch.
  • Can I collect my order from you?
    Yes you can we are based in South West Scotland. Please get in touch if you would like to come and collect your order directly, we would be happy to help you.
  • How are the products made?
    All our products are handmade with attention to detail using weather resistant fixings to ensure longevity. They are designed for the inhabitant and monitoring in mind. No complicated latches or difficult manoeuvres up a ladder just simple and reliable.
  • Can I get a discount for a large order?

  • What is the best way to get a big box up in a tree?
    The easiest way to get a large box up in the tree is using a rope and pulley. Simply place the pulley above the height you want your box, then fix one end of the rope to the box through the pulley and pull the box up from the ground.
  • What is Stokboard and what are the benefits?

  • What if my box arrives damaged in the post?
    If your box arrives damaged in the post please get in touch via email (within 7 days) with a picture of the damaged goods preferably with the packaging and we will speak with our courier. If the couirer accepts the damage and once the item has been returned to us we will then send out a replacment and then we will remburse your delivery cost.
  • Do you ship anywhere in the UK?

  • Can I return a product I don't want or is faulty?
    Yes of course. We believe you will love our products but if you wish to return a product to us please get in touch via email wildlifeboxes@hotmail.com Once your product has been returned to us in a resalable condition we will offer a full refund.
  • Will the box get too hot because its black plastic
    No, as with most boxes they are best placed out of direct sunlight. However the material that the boxes are made from (Stokboard) has excellent thermal properties and in addition to this the boxes are designed with extra ventilation where needed.
  • Are you VAT registered?
    No Wildlife Boxes is not VAT registered.
